Don't Call it a Comeback!

Alright... maybe... yeah you can call it a come back.

You probably guessed it but RL kicked my behind the past year. I'm in a crazy positive place now but I for sure had to trudge through some "mud" to get here. So after some rebounding, I resolved to live, learn, go back to school to learn more about 3D modeling and design, and make hair.

So now that that is over, let's get to the exciting stuff. Hair in all its kinky curly goodness. So I've done something new with the textures. I was looking at natural hair the other day (as I frequently do), I saw the most beautiful hair that had clearly been dyed a lighter color because those roots, omgerd, beautiful. So wanting to do the same; I pulled half of the textures from the original hud and added roots to the remaining textures.

On the huds you'll see a roots section with BK, BR, and GR for black, brown, and grey roots. These are the new huds so you can take a look.

First off the block, and of course keeping with musical names, it's Sonatina.

This hair comes with the new huds listed above, as well as a SEPARATE hair wrap. I wanted people who purchased the hair to be able to use the wraps for other hair they may have if it fits.

Here's the one that was asked for on a few separate occasions. The little top puff that started this project off Sonata. I'm still working on ways to incorporate braids and twists to the : Puft : style but I really enjoy how the braid in the back came out.

So for future plans, there are a lot of little side projects I want to do. One may be a mesh head for round faces that doesn't look like it got stung by a swarm of bees. But hair will always be there even if life kicks my butt.

Back On Track!

Hey everyone,

It's been an interesting month and a half. There are a lot of changes to : Puft : some very visible, some not so visible. Either way exciting things are happening.

First, one of two in-world stores are up and ready to go @ Jade. 

Jade is home of Luna Mystica Premium Deluxe Sandbox & Hangout that Rina often frequents while she is working. She has a great relationship with the sim owner. So when : Puft : became more popular than initially expected, the sim owner lended her a hand when it came to rental space.

I say all this because this sim is unfortunately adult only. No children are allowed.

Now I do want to say to all the kids out there that there is so much love for you cuties. We had another sim lined up and just as we were working it out we found out the sim closed. We are currently looking into a family friendly sim for an additional store. So please bear with us while we get that worked out.

Okay so some other business news, Rina spent the entire weekend working on a script so she can down size the amount of scripts in the hud. So instead of 30+ you have 3 or 4. Woo!

This hair comes with an accessory hud that works to give you texture options as well as color options with some tintable textures on the bottom. It also comes with a mirrored version... you can actually thank the green guy in the Tempo picture for the mirror request. He has very refined taste for a goblin.

Puft Store Coming Soon!

So its been a while.. but for good reason

New in world stores coming soon!!

So I settled into a new place and decided to set up a new store. Since moving all my time has been going to this recently mostly because it is difficult to participate in fairs or set up small stores in market sims without a main store to link back to.  So for now so you can anticipate new hair in September, and if all goes well I'll do a multiple style release.

Also I've been thinking of changing the Huds around and removing some colors that are not used as much. This will cut down on the amount of time it takes to put the huds together. Which means new hair sooner. Let me know what you think in the comments section.

Its that time again the release of new hair. I am in love with this one... but I'm in love with all the : Puft : creations so I guess this is nothing new. 

This maaaay be the last release for alittle while, because of a pending move. I will try to sneak in another hair before I go but its unlikely I'll have enough time if I do indeed move. Which I just confirmed just as I'm about to click publish is for sure happening lol.

In the mean time I do hope everyone enjoys this one. Your reviews, your likes on flickr, your wonderful IMs, and to the few customers with MP issues thank you all for being so lovely. It really makes this little store all the more fun to work on. 

Now the real news who won the contest?

This was a little interesting cause there was only one entry and 5 hairs to give away. I'm chalking this up to being so new to the market, but I'm not discouraged there will be more contests and giveaways to come, so stay tuned. Now I'm gonna go veg out on the couch watch some TV and contemplate what room I'm going to start packing.

This was a tough week in terms of focus... probably cause I have 0. However I managed to muster up just enough to get this done.

Next week I'll be looking into some buildings for a small in world store thanks to all : Puft :'s wonderful customers for it's sudden success.

Now it's nap time for sure but not without giving you guys some info on what inspired this one.

This is THE hair that kept me sane while I was making the packaging and adverts for : Puft :.

This one was inspired by my new favorite character (after binge watching Steven Universe) Garnet. If you haven't watched it check out the below picture.

As awesome as garnet is I couldn't make it completely square so it took on its 70's disco diva style over-pufed shape. If your following me on Flickr you probably saw I couldn't even wait to release this one, and uploaded yet another sneak peek.

I next release I'll try to quell the excitement and stay true to a release every 2 weeks or so for the summer, but who's complaining if it's sooner right.
